But as of lately the print is making a comeback, and I wont lie, I'm quite liking the touch it gives when matched properly.
Giambattista Valli, Resort 2012
I found the print to be very workable (there will be a part 2 to this blog post!), especially with bright colours and even like them as leggings (which, I normally hate printed leggings).
Collared shirt- Forever 21
Leopard dress- Sirens
Maroon tee- I love H81

I paired this leopard print tank-top dress with an absurdly loud orange collared crop top, subduing it with the maroon tee so it didnt yell "bright orange!" and "leopard print!" all together.
Although I do wish now that I had worn sheer tights instead of black leggings and accessorized, this is still one of my favourite outfits for the summer! What do you all think?

Love the way you've layered it all! the tee, the shirt, the dress...with the hint of bright orange...very chic! :)

I think this look is cute! I totally LOLed when I saw the photo of The Nanny...haha. I forgot about that show. =) I used to have an aversion to leopard too for similar reasons...but a lot of what I used to not like...I have grown to like and even love! How funny...

I don't like leopard print either but in your outfit it looks great! When there's not too much leopard it can look awesome!

I used to hate Leopard, but now I cant get enough!

Leopard is great when used well--too much leopard or too many colors in the print makes it cheap. You did a great job giving it a classier edge. I love it. (:
ReplyDeletelove the layered top! and leopard can definitely be a fine line between nice and a little gaudy depending on how it is printed
