I don't know if you all remember, but a few posts back (here) I was talking about how fall feels like a new beginning for me, even more so than the new year. Well this fall is one of the first falls in a long time that I don't actually have school! But with the feeling of a new beginning still with me, I've decided to make a list of things I would like to learn and tackle starting this fall:
Do more YOGA: being from Vancouver and living in one of the most yoga obsessed cities, it only made sense that I too soon would join this craze. Taking some yoga classes while I was volunteering in India really made me fall in love with it. I've recently joined a yoga studio here, but don't go to it as often as I would like to. So I definitely want to make an effort to go more.
Learn how to use my new DSLR camera: my sweet family bought me a canon dslr as my graduation present and I'm soooo excited to finally figure it out and take some fun photos.
Learn how to do embroidery or crochet: Now this is something that will be really challenging for me, because I don't know if I will have the capabilities or the patience to learn this. but hey I will give it at least one shot!
READ A LOT: so anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE reading! Having one wall of my bedroom as a large bookshelf is a testament to that. But while in school I don't get to read for leisure as much as I would like to. So I can't wait till diving into the pile of unread books.
p.s.: I LOVE everything about this eddie bauer sweater. I love the length, the design, the style and how there is even an option to pin it as a wrap. Oh and it's super warm! It's the perfect sweater! I'm also wearing my new Naturalizer boots. These boots are made for Vancouver weather, for they are waterproof and have a fleece lining! bring on the rain and cold!
