We thought it would be best to update everyone on what we have been up to, lets begin!
I went to Greece for an excavation and I loved it!
(now looking for a summer house on Paros and a job that will pay for it)
I travelled extensively through Greece and this is just a 1/3!

After two flight connections we (my friend and I) made it to the train that would take us to Athens

The view from our first night's hotel's balcony. The Acropolis lived up to its reputation through its towering presence over the city
The Archaic site of Despotiko off the coast of Paros and Antiparos (where we lived)

Yes! It was hard work and dirty (7 am to 2 pm work hours)--but well worth it!
Our 6 weeks allowed for a lot of travel to places such as Mycenae, a dream for a Classical Archaeology major like myself
Mykonos, was an island we went back to twice, not for the obvious reasons (but also for those), it is definitely not overrated
Mykonos at night, the Mediterranean never sleeps (except in the afternoon, when you will not see a soul)
Crete definitely had the best food and did I mention that Greece is actually much better to vegetarians than popularly believed to be so
A shot of the Temple of Olympia Zeus in Athens from the Acropolis
Epidavros (Epidaurus), where we were able to see my favourite play Medea in modern Greek performed as original in the sold out ancient theatre itself, definitely one of my favourite nights
Look out for my travel guide coming later! Hope you enjoyed a peek into my trip,
