When I said I was all about plaid this fall, I really meant that I was all about plaid this fall - having showcased my love for it in my last weeks outfit post debuting my new plaid shirt. But this scarf is my favourite plaid / tartan purchase of the season thus far. It is a soft fleece which makes it so warm. The best part is that it has a black and white checker design on the other side! I would have loved to pair this with a biker jacket - we all know I love that combination. But since I don't have a biker jacket in my closet I just had to pair it with the Canadian Tuxedo. I have a feeling this is going to become my go to scarf this winter! (Check out how Prabh styled her plaid shirt here)
On the India trip front, I am basically done packing! I can't believe it - 3 days to go and we will be off! It's both exciting and nerve wrecking. I initially wanted to be away for 4 weeks maximum, but somehow through our planning and scheduling process this trip kept on getting longer and we are now going away for 7 weeks! Knowing how it usually goes on these kinds of trips, time is going to go by fast! I just had a hard time packing this time around. For it's cold and rainy in Oxford (I'm making a pit stop there for a week or so to visit Prabh) and then it's really hot in Punjab, India (when I say really hot, I mean it's hotter than our average summer temps here in Vancouver). But then in December the temperatures will drop drastically in Punjab, to the point where it can even hit around 0 degrees celsius! So I had to be super strategic in my packing - lets just say - lots of layers!
