An Honest Update....
It went from 2014 to 2015, My 30th birthday happened, and we came back from a long trip away from home. Since I've been back from this trip its been a big adjustment period. I've had a hard time adjusting my sleep, my appetite, my life. And in the midst of it all I got hit with a terrible stomach bug/ flu. So whilst I was planning on reflecting back on 2014 and setting goals for 2015, I was instead lying on the couch with a loads of used kleenex and gatorade bottles.
I have big plans for the blog this year. I want to be more open on the blog, let you all into my world or brain that is. Being a natural introvert opening up like that can be extremely difficult for me in real life, so it's going to take a lot for me to do that on this medium. But it is something I feel that is necessary and missing from this blog.
So get ready to hear more about my health ordeals, insights into my life as a 30 year old, and of course my opinions on many subject matters that I'm passionate about -- such as feminism. This will all be in addition to the routine posts on here, recipes, travel, outfits, life etc. Because I enjoy blogging about all those things as well!
But for now I ask you be patient with me. I'm still recuperating from this illness. And honestly I'm a bit drained and burnt out from my trip from India. It kinda threw me off balance. I promise to return with some great content! This doesn't mean I'm going completely MIA, it's just a little heads up that my blogging might not be as frequent as it has been until I get back to the normal routine of things around here!
Thank you Again!
