Its always tough when you know that you need to be in the library all day and your only breaks are lectures to be able to pick clothes that are both stylish but also casual and comfortable. Thank god for the H&M basics line it serves so well in layering up and down for a casual day, school or an evening out at the pub with friends!

A Few Things

If you know me, you know that I am a person who loves where I am from. Being born and brought up here in Vancouver is something I really appreciate. I love the West Coast. And one of the best things about Vancouver? The weather! Yes it does rain here a lot! I mean ALOT! so that is a negative, but other than that we have mild weather - which means our winter looks like the photo above which was taken in February whilst the rest of the country was trying to survive blizzards and heaps of snow (sorry rest of Canada - don't really mean to rub it in) and our summers are really nice - where we have warm summers - not too hot, just perfect for us to enjoy our beautiful beaches!

Yummy Lemon Meringue pie made by my sister and cousin!

Best thing about spring in Vancouver? the cherry blossoms!

beautiful flowers I saw during one of my walks

And speaking of flowers, I am loving these tulips in our kitchen right now. Having fresh flowers throughout the house is one of the those little things that bring lots of joy to my soul!
