Friday Finds

Friday Finds is a series that Footnotes and Finds runs every friday where we share interesting, informative and fun finds/links from around the web.  Follow along!

1. This ingenious idea of seamlessly superimposing figures from Classical art onto modern day scenes of life is one of the best things I have seen!

2. If you know me, you will know that I love trees. Now, scientists are able to show that the earth "breathes" or more so how carbon dioxide released by trees moves around in our atmosphere. This is not to be missed, it so mesmerizing!

3. Check out Afghanistan's first all-girl orchestra!

4. Love this, this and this dainty ring!

5. Margaret Atwood's The Hand Maid's Tale is absolutely one of my favourite books so when I found that it was being turned into a Tv Series I was elated. Now, the teaser is out and I am hyped!! Check it out for yourself.

  1. Thanks for these great links. Afghanistan's first all-girl orchestra is pretty amazing! The Hand Maid's Tale is also on my reading list, so I'm super motivated to finish it soon so I can check out the TV series. :D
